Amb. Elkanah Odembo

Ag. Executive Director

Ambassador Elkanah Odembo is the Ag. Executive Director, Ufadhili Trust. He is the former Country Director CARE International, Ghana. He is also the former Vice President for Africa, the World Council of Credit Union. He has served as the Kenyan Ambassador to United States, France and also accredited to Poland, Serbia, and the Vatican. Ambassador Odembo has spent over 28 years in community development and advocating for social justice. He sits on the Boards of several international organizations. He is also the founding trustee of Ufadhili Trust.

Maina Wambugu

Programmes

Maina Wambugu coordinates Ufadhili‘s programmatic interventions. He has over 10 years experience in advocacy, communications, governance and CSR/Sustainability work. He has also worked on different projects at Ufadhili Trust. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Communication from the University of Nairobi – Kenya. Maina also holds a Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations. He is pursuing a Masters Degrees in Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Nairobi.

Diana Ndaani

Programmes/Finance

Diana Ndaani supports the organization in the implementation of its programmatic interventions, as well as in finance work. She has over 5 years’ experience in programmes/projects work, research, accounting, finance management and customer service.
Previously, she was  engaged in research work in different organizations, and she is also an experienced banker. Diana holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Statistics from Maseno University (Kenya) and also a Certified Public Accountant.

Ufadhili Trust works with a pool of experts in the areas of sustainability/corporate social responsibility, social and environmental auditing, livelihoods/economic empowerment, extractives and good governance.
